In the artist's words: The Hollywood Sign is an iconic symbol of the entertainment industry identifiable by people around the world. This was challenging for me to capture because it is such a popular subject to photograph. I wanted to do it differently than everyone else. Instead of putting the sign in the middle of the picture, I decided to use my signature minimalist style and put the sky in the bottom third while making the sky the top two thirds.
