The artist
Meet Falon Clayton, painter
Falon Clayton, who also paints as Falon Brianne, is a self-taught, third-generation artist in Southern California. Growing up, seeing both her parents with a paintbrush in hand was simply a normal day at home.
Her large paintings draw on the coast and the desert, with a bohemian touch. She layers acrylic, charcoal and pastel, and works in natural elements found along the shore.
In 2021 she was named the winner of Laguna's Next Top Artist by Grace Galleries in Laguna Beach. Her work is held in private collections in Orange, Laguna, San Clemente and online.

Falon painted Beautiful Mess in 2021. In her words, it is about the story of our lives: messy, but beautiful.
The shapes and colors come from a desert oasis. Soft sand, pale blush and quiet blue sit under quick, playful marks.
It is a gentle reminder for any wall: the layers, the edits and the happy accidents are what make a life lovely.
