Meet Jules Frazier, fine art photographer
Jules Frazier was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, with a camera in her hands at seven. She studied photography at the Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, planning a fashion career in Manhattan.
Then a last-minute ski trip to Sun Valley changed everything. On a dare she entered a rodeo queen contest, and was crowned the 1985 Miss Hailey Idaho Rodeo Queen. She stayed in the West and photographed what she found, and those pictures became her first fine art collections.
Four decades on, her work runs from the American West to desert modern architecture, coastal escapes and ski towns. She loves old motel signs and classic cars, and her aim stays the same: timeless photographs that bring a sense of place, story and style into a home.

A wall of prints, each one a place worth remembering.
II. The places
From ski towns to desert roads
Jules Frazier's collections move between the American West, desert modern architecture, coastal escapes and ski towns. Every place is a gift for someone who has been there.

Ski-town winters
A ski trip to Sun Valley changed the course of her career. Welcome To The Jungle lines up skis in every color against a snowy hill.

Racetime looks down on skis laid out in the snow, a bright, graphic scene for anyone who still talks about the mountain.

The Oasis Motel catches a weathered neon sign against the desert sky, the roadside Americana Jules Frazier has long loved.

Cactus Pink sets a towering cactus against a hot pink stucco wall, a small desert surprise for a bare wall.

Caddy Love: the story behind the photograph
In Palm Springs, a pale blue Cadillac convertible is parked in front of a wall of white breeze block, with a single red door behind it. Nothing is happening, and that is the point: a quiet moment of mid-century cool.
Jules Frazier has a long history with classic cars. In her early rodeo days, a 1962 Plymouth Belvedere named Magnolia carried her and her film cameras across the West.
People choose Caddy Love for someone who still talks about a road trip. A gift like that is specific, and it stays: long after the wrapping is gone, the long drive is still on the wall.

V. At home
Retro desert wall art for the living room, and beyond
Graphic, sunlit and a little cinematic, these photographs give a room its story.

Above the sofa
Choose a piece about two-thirds the width of the sofa. A horizontal like Caddy Love or Yesteryear sits comfortably over a long, low sofa.
By the fireplace
Welcome To The Jungle brings winter color above a mantel, and a vertical like Racetime fits the narrow wall beside it.
On a wall that needs a point of view
A single bold piece, like Cactus Pink, gives a bare wall a personality. Group three from one place and the story builds frame by frame.
VI. The whole collection
Every Jules Frazier print
12 photographs, shown in a mix of frames. Every piece comes in Black, White, Hickory and Heritage Walnut.
